Good news, bad news

The good news is the smoke that was hanging in the North Valley all day yesterday ...and to my understanding for several days before ...has been blown away by light wind out of the north.
The bad news is the smoke was helping to keep the temperature down in the double digits. When I drove by New Tech (Anderson New Technology High School [ANTHS for short]), the reader board said it was 116°F. The information wasn't right, but it isn't too far wrong.
