Welding masks are in vogue

It was battle of the welding screens this morning around 

Whitworth while we all watched the eclipse.

Neighbour Mike Burgess let me use this photograph 

that he captured while out on the moors.

In support of my Scottish friends I coordinated my mask with my tartan skirt.

While Philip, the welder husband, didn't quite get 

it right with his overalls and house slippers.  

Even his van pals "Creature Comforts" were embarrassed by him.

Anyhow, welders up and down the country

 I am reliably informed the best welding screens 

are the American Jackson masks. If that weirdo in the

 red overalls is to be believed.
